Going with my family every summer to a resort in Northern Minnesota. We would swim all day and just have fun enjoying the great outdoors. I miss those days so much.
Reading many books!
When I visited my son in Colardo and we spent a weekend day at Garden of GODS,alongwith my daughter and son in law
Flying kites on sand dunes under the shade of a lone tree.
Lying beneath the stars watching the Perseids and listening to Art Bell broadcasting from the High Desert in the Kingdom of KNYE.
The summer I turned 16 & became Mobile in my 69 Mustang convertible! Oh what a summer! The river beach parties, the music, the concerts, the bonfires, moonlit nights on the cliffs, & the girls!
The summer of my first love! And great friends! Oh yeah and the drive in Movies! And did I mention the girls. It was a wonderful summer full of fantastic memories! I would be hard pressed to pick any one memory that’s my favorite! But if I had to, it would have to be from that summer!
This summer we rented a cottage and most of our kids and all the grandkids were there. We had a great time
The family getting together on our front porch after a nice meal of home grown vegetables here on the farm.
Favorite memory is fishing with my daughter in northern WI.
Getting a Grundig Satellit 750 for my birthday and picking up the Giant Jukebox on the Mighty KBC all the way from the Netherlands was my favorite Summer memory and it’s still fresh as it happened just this year 🙂
Summer in Norway. The long days, light till after 11:00 pm.
That would have to be “the last day of school”, every summer!
Spending summers going to the beach with my mom and sister
My favorite memories of all my summers is spending quality time with my family. Kayaking with my wife and son in lakes within our home area of metro Detroit. Touring MIT in Cambridge MA for my son who’s a freshman in high school right now. Visiting my parents, brother, and sister-in-laws in NY state. All seasons are best with family, but when school is out in the summer we have more time together.
The first summer after I retired. Reading outside almost everyday. WOW
The last summer that I spent in my native country before coming over to the USA. I made sure to visit my grandparents and cousins. Regardless of how advanced technology gets, nothing beats being with your grand parents in person! I miss those fun times.
Spending the week down at the Jersey shore during Live aid in 1985. Watching it on a small TV in a room with alot of people.
Most memorable summer was the first family vacation that we took as a family when I was a Primary student…standard 1, I suppose. My Dad took us to the mountains and my love for hilly terrain has remained with me ever since. When I look back, it was indeed a big deal for someone like me..who had been born and brought up in the desert part of India. Until then I had never seen such lush greens and lakes and waterfalls. Ah….bliss!
When I was 15 I discovered backpacking in the Trinitie Alps at Camp Unalayee. Changed my life!
I guess it would be spending weeks down in Ocean City, MD. The boardwalk really hasn’t changed much in 40 years.
At Logan, on the tarmac, waiting for the 9:00 AM flight to San Francisco, when bad things started to happen..
The Observer saved my live 2 times. Must buy
Being a lifeguard at Salisbury Beach State Park in Massachusetts.
