Well, if your new model came out this year and you knew it was a winner; I would call it the C. Crane 30A.
If this was an internet/ shortwave radio, I might call it the C. Crane Audiowave IP.
Super
The CCRadio, Jay Allen Edition
SENTRY
The CCrane Signal Surfer
The Craneinator!!!
The (c.crane) Continental.
Would you like some Cham-pag-ne?
The Intercontinental!

Crane-ium.
Design it to clip onto a ball cap. Ship it with short-cable waterproof / sound protection earbuds and decent omni FM & AM antennas, so that it receives well, doesn’t get in the way, and protects the ears while mowing the lawn or doing any other noisy outside work. I’d be all over that product!
I would name your new radio the “Beacon”, because it is a nightly conveyor of knowledge. I got my first transistor radio and earphone 50 years ago when I was 7. I’ve upgraded, obviously, and my CCRadio is my constant companion. Thank you.
I would name it Crane Superior.
The CCrane Electrodyne 9000 🙂
That’s easy I would name it, “Loyd’s Radio”!
The Cranium!
The CCrane Signal Surfer is nice. How about “The CCrane Super AM/FM/SW Radio.” Seriously, CCrane should use this IC for their receiver: http://www.nxp.com/documents/leaflet/75017318.pdf . It would be super indeed! (I saw it demonstrated today at Panasonic Automotive where I work. It’s really very good!) Use this with a little micro for control, an LCD display, an audio amplifier to drive a speaker, and you will have a great little radio!
I would like to have a general coverage AM-SW-VHF receiver with solar cells and hand crank and call it the CC Ultimate.
The C Cranium of course!
C Crane Sound Wave
C. Crane Wave Catcher
The name should be Crane Superior
AAA Radio
I like The CraneCaster.
C. Crane Centurian
CCC-CCraneChampion
I’d call it;
“THEradio”
Synergy 30
Geosyncaudio Enhanced!
The Pearl — which is the traditional gift for a 30th Anniversary.
The CC Ultimate.
CCrane Monster Radio.
How about the CC-Ultraradio?
With people growing up these days with internet radio, many don’t know how powerful a real radio that receives signals over the air, even when the user’s internet connection is down. Just the other day, my friend was telling me that he has a portable radio on his desk at work. His son came into the room, and said: “Dad, why do you listen to the radio when you can listen to the radio on your phone?” The son just didn’t know. So to market to him, how about: “CCrane’s Old School Radio?” You could market it by saying: “No internet connection required.” 😉
C2RAD
Air Boss
My name suggestion for Crane’s next radio is:
ExoClear
Crane-ium.
How about….The ‘C. Crane Magic 30 Radio’?
I’m so excited about this new name I want to buy one already!
CCRadioBell
There’s only one name possible – “The I-Crane.”
Wonder Radio
Cranium
The CCRadio-DR. A new option would be added (perhaps to multiple models) allowing 1-2 hours of digital recording/playback of the station the radio is tuned to.
Bob?
Yes?
I would call it the “CCrane LifeWave”
You never know when a radio could save you life during a disaster!
Well if a new radio that covered digital television, I would call it CCTVradio
