Weather in Cleveland is beautiful – let’s hope it stays that way if the Indians make the playoffs!
Thankfully, a warm, sunny stretch for several days — no need for a Weather Alert radio at this point. But when the snow starts…
Weather in the mountains of North Carolina today is foggy. The weekend is supposed to be clear and sunny, though. Love this time of year.
Fair and 63 degrees with lots of water vapor in the air in Simi Valley, CA. We generally don’t need weather alert radios here.
It is the coolest it has been in months, thankfully. We have had a long stretch of HOT weather. Very much enjoying this seasonal change in temps.
Sunny. No need at the moment but you never know.
In this part of the country the weather is sunny and clear, either hot or cold 90 percent of the time, although the season is changing at this time as well, from hot to cold. Currently 58 degrees and sunny where it is normally closer to 70 and sunny in the mornings in the summer. Very nice however…
Hey I am in San Diego–God’s County. The weather is 66 degrees at night and 70’s in the daytime. Don’t tell anyone. We do need rain but not weather alerts.
78 degrees and sunny. No weather alerts today but winter will soon be here.
Finally stop raining and 90 degrees. In Florida you need at least two weather radios.
Tom
Sunny and a little cool here in the upstate of South Carolina, but it feels good outside. I could use a weather radio to let me know that for sure before I go outside every day.
Unseasonably cool and rainy but nothing firing off a NOAA alert. And boy oh boy do I hope I win the CC observer!! I
Clear & Sunny today, but I definately need a weather alert radio,as you prepare for emergency in advance.
Thta’s the best answer of all time! JMHO
Yes, need it today before traveling over the passes, we’ve had a winter storm warning issued for elevations above 5000 ft. While it is ok here in the valley the passes could nasty so I always listen or check online with the NWS before going into high country.
It is warm and sun is shining. I think it would be good to have a weather alert radio all the time.
It’s cloudy.I have the few radios but none is NOAA alert capable,so may be it’s time to get one.
Would love a weather radio, but probably don’t need one here. Cloudy. 65 degrees.
perfect fall weather here in Vancouver mild sea breeze from the pacific ocean -no need for weather alert
Sunny and 74 degrees. Weather Alert radio on vacation
Fremont CA checking in………….it’s clear, a little chillier than recently, no weather alerts imminent (he predicted precipitously.) Go A’s.
Wonderful fall weather here right now but when the storms hit and the electricity goes out, I sure do need a weather alert radio that I can take to the basement with me while waiting out the storm.
We had a foot of rain last week and more this week. I need a boat along with your radio!
Here in Oklahoma, the weather is very moderate in the 80’s, and the humidity has dropped. Storms forecasted this weekend, there is always a need for a weather radio here!
A clear, beautiful 64-degrees in Sunnyvale, California! 😉
cold weather here in maine. my old weather radio die last year. it’s a great thing to have when power goes out,the net is down.you can take it with you when you go camping, etc
It’s partly cloudy and 70 degrees in our part of southern California!
A NOAA Weather Alert radio would help me see whether this beautiful weather is going to last long.
Sunny and 65 with a nice sea breeze. NOAA alerts could come in handy just about anywhere given the radical weather we’ve been seeing across the nation.
The clouds are starting to build up here in our part of the country, but the temperature is comfortable in the low 70s. Wish I had a NOAA weather alert radio to see if any stormy weather is coming!
No need for a weather alert today. 60 degrees and partly sunny. Nice fall weather.
It is sunny and nice now with a temp. about 73 Degs. Rain might be rolling in tomorrow however! Might even snow here in Minnesota soon!
It is nice and sunny here now with a temp. about 73 degs. Might get rain tomorrow and it could snow here in Minnesota anytime!

No need for a weather radio here in W.PA. yet….been perfect sunny,dry,74 degree daytimes all week. Early Autumn and start of leaf color/Indian Summer here….
Our current weather is sunny with blue skies and some clouds which means we might or might not get rain. We had a rain shower about an hour ago but this is typical summer Florida weather. But we never know when a hurricane might develop and it would be nice to have a Weather Alert Radio!
Jo
In times of threatening weather or emergency, where would we be without a radio.

75 degrees here and very pleasant. The weather alert radio would be nice. (Don’t have one yet.)

Weather here in Texas is perfect – 75 degrees outside my home now. It’s time for the State Fair to begin.
Weather is as nice as it gets, now! but I hope I win the wx radio, bad winter predicted.
It’s beautiful down here in Florida today. I currently have 88F and c ear sky with just enough wind to keep things fairly comfortable.
As far as NOAA weather alert goes; I’ve never tried it. Sounds like a good idea though.
Many years go when I was still active in ham radio (still have my licence,KF4WDZ but no transceiver) I used to tune in and take part in Skywarn on the 2M band. Skywarn is a local net set up spot tornadoes and report to NOAA..
Even in this day and age of all the new technology often it’s radio and people’s eyes that get the best information out. When it comes to communication in time of an emergency or disaster radio is still very much king.
It’s 70 degrees and sunny in Cleveland, OH, so no, but if the weather ever goes bad I’m prepared, I just received my Solar Observer last week.
It’s sunny today… but this is the middle of hurricane season. NOAA might be the first warning we get.
