My favorite is a old Louisiana tradition. It’s the Christmas Eve bonfires on the Mississippi river levee between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.Hundreds of 25 foot, and higher, pyramid shaped bonfires burning simultaneously to light the way for Papa Noel. Although I have moved far from those beautiful sights, it still remains a favorite Christmas memory for me and my family. Wishing everyone a blessed and peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

A Christmas tree is at the basis of my Christmas memories. I have GOT to have something GREEN for Christmas – even if it;s just a branch, or even a potted plant. I really miss a tree. It just ain’t Christmas any more – Ii have no room for a tree or the money to buy one at today’s prices. Maybe I’ll get a small potted plant for this Christmas and put an LED or 2 in it for light.
