I love to read, and enjoy an actual physical book, closely followed by an electronic one. It’s nice having several books stored on my phone that I can read in waiting rooms, etc.
Real books by default. E-books for convenience when traveling. Audio books as a supplement on rare occasions, such as for Shakespeare, Melville, or verse.
I don’t read very often, but like paper books.
E book I can carry many many books with me in my rv
I like my Kindle!
I prefer an e-book on an iPad Mini…
There’s nothing like a real book.
definitely a real book
I love to read ebooks, especially on my phone because it’s always with me.
Even though I’m a traditionalist in many ways, I was thrilled with my first experiences of reading on an iPad. I have a lot of memory on my current iPad Air, so if I go somewhere, I have multiple books to enjoy. E-book recipe books are also great for the kitchen. With an iPad stand on the counter, e-book recipes are ready to enjoy. Reduced clutter in a small kitchen!
I like ebooks for recreational reading, paper for reference material and audio books for those long drives..
Audio books
I am a voracious reader. I love an actual book but I also like the convenience of a kindle when traveling. Also my job will not allow electronic devices at my desk.
I prefer IBooks on my IPad or audiobooks
What type of book do I prefer? EASY … Definitely a real book – typically astronomy related. I have 330 astronomy books & counting!
Got to have a real book in my hands. The tactile feeling of a physical book and the act of turning the page aids in retaining the subject whether it be fiction or non-fiction.
Audiobooks are great when traveling
Real book. I have trouble reading small print anymore.
Free Art Bell and Merry Christmas to him and your family as well.
We all miss Art !
I absolutely prefer a real book. I’m older. Is this a generation gap? Just bought two books in a library sale $1 each on the history of Christmas and the other on Christmas collectibles.
Real books, I have never been able to warm up to ebooks or a Kindle reader. I have tried, but it just isn’t the same. Eboooks big advantage though is the numbers that you can load onto a reader, there is no way to carry a half ton of books everywhere, but you can with an ereader.
Consider me old fashioned. I haven’t really gotten used to electronic reading or listening material. I’ll take the real thing with ink on paper.
I love the look and feel of real books.
I feel more and more like a dinosaur in today’s America. I prefer books – if they have that “old book smell” so much the better. Embrace the comfortable past and pray for the future.
I only read newspapers and magazines online now.
A paper book has a good familiar feel to it that you can chippy up with, but an ebook is so convenient to have with you wherever you go
I enjoy all 3!
love real books……my mini vacations
I read and collect real books, just don’t like reading on the computer. I don’t “listen” to books because when I doze off I loose my place.
Real books please
I don’t read.
Depends on where I am. At home, I prefer physical ink on paper. If I’m in the car on a long trip, an audiobook is just the thing. If I’m flying or taking the train, I want my Kindle with me, so if there are any delays, I have a whole library to choose from, and I can keep it in my coat pocket when I’m not reading it.
I Don’t Read
like Audio books and real books
I prefer a real book.
I enjoy both old and new tech reading. I enjoy the fact that I have several books available at any time using my e-reader.
On the go, ebooks. At home, with a nice fire and three fingers of single malt real books.
I like either one, depending on the circumstance. It is easiest to read on a lit screen in the dark, a Kindle or book in sunlight, a real book for comfort and ease of hopping around the book.
And audio when driving or going to sleep!
I prefer a ‘real’ book. Something about holding it, turning the pages and the feel of the paper is preferable to holding an electronic device and ‘reading’ the screen.
I’ll take a physical book any day – especially when it’s written by James Patterson.
The Kindle simply because I live in a small place with little room for regular books.
i prefer a “real” book
I read books of all subjects. Tablets and laptops need batteries. No book loses the words because the battery went dead.
Real Books are permanent friends!!
Ebooks on my iPhone,as they are with me 24×7,to enjoy.
I prefer a nice book in a quite room…
books books books!!! there is no substitute
I use a Kindle when I am traveling but I read real books most of the time.
Sadly I pretty much do all my reading online these days, although I still like a hardbound type book to take with me when I’m going to be stuck waiting in the doctor’s office or some-such.
