I enjoy all kinds of gardens, but dislike gardening.
Garden – Mainly tomatoes (after all this is the Sacramento area…)
The only thing I grow in my garden is ‘tired’.
I am 74 years old and have gardened for many years. I grow and can tomatoes and green beans, also sweet potatoes, bell peppers, strawberries and anything else that catches my fancy.
Yes. Tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, green peppers, squash, melons.
Gardening would be great, in theory.
Definitely garden!! Nothing like growing your own vegetables! I mostly grow tomatoes, basil.lettuce, and sugar snap peas.
We have a plot in a community garden. It’s only 8’X4′, but big enough to grow some fresh vegetables. What we grow is much better than what we can get in a supermarket. So, to answer your questions, yes you should garden. We grow what suits our climate – peppers, cucumbers in summer and broccoli in winter.
Garden..Flowers- annuals/perennials. Vegetables- tomatoes,peppers,zucchini,gold bar,eggplant,cucumber,cabbage,beans,lettuce.
Gardening is a great hobby and a great hobby to share with your spouse. I wish I had the time.
I grow vegetables
I have a large garden and grow mainly tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and corn. I have a stand and sell the produce in my front yard.
I have a “small ” garden , 5 pots of.tomatoes.
I live in a trailer park and have very limited yard space. I only grow one thing and i use big containers and cattle panels for support. TOMATOES!! One of my favorite things in the summer is to be in the garden at sunset eating tomatoes still warm from the summer sun
Raspberries, tomatoes, cukes and peppers
I have the worst black thumb of anyone that I have ever known, so no, I don’t garden. The only thing that I have ever successfully grown is tomatoes and that is because my wife was the principal maintenance person that told me what to do, come to think of it, she told me what to do for a lot of things! All good, she was a great one to keep her husband from sticking foot in mouth disease!
Sometimes it seems like all I grow is food for the deer. I grow tomatoes in containers on the south patio and the deer leave them alone. They did eat all my broccoli so I am building a fence around the veggie plot.
Yes! I love to garden. I have lots of perineal flowers, coneflowers, daylilies; and I plant lots of sunflowers each year. But this last Spring I tried raised beds for tomatoes and peppers. It was a huge success; I had some great varieties of hot and sweet peppers, and yellow and red cherry tomatoes. I had hundreds still to pick on the last day before the first freeze.
Yes! This was a great year for several varieties of chilies. Every year is good here (Mid TN) for greens. Tomatoes were just fair, and erratic. We have greens ready to harvest now — about the third “crop” since spring.
I do not garden currently – I live in a hotel, (4th floor!), and on the North side of the building, so gardening is not an option. If I had a few square of soil, (not sand like there is around here), I would probably grow a few veggies for consumption.
Definitely garden! Herbs and vegetable delights!
In N.E. Oregon I grow weeds very well!
I shared a community garden plot in Redding, California for many years until the break-ins from the homeless and transient populations became commonplace. It is too discouraging to prepare the soil, plant the seeds, water, and weed only to have someone else enter your garden and pick your produce. Strawberries were a favorite, but also zucchini and potatoes.
I Garden when I’m not traveling but the last few years have been a full time traveler I do miss growing though especially peppers
I do not garden but I know I should….
I do not garden but someday…hope springs eternal!
Hoh yes I garden, nothing like fresh tomatoes on a sandwich..
The only thing I grow in my garden is tired!
Yes I garden and I use 2 Garden Towers one for veggies and the other for medicinal herbs.

Would love to garden but the deer eat everything.

I cultivate peace and love.

I no longer have a garden because I live in the city. Before I moved here I had one and really miss it.
My garden is at the grocery store 😉
I choose not to garden.
I say no to gardening.
I say no to gardening.
Yes, veggies.
There’s nothing like fresh fruits/vegetables that you have just picked yourself, it’s very basic and gratifying. It seems that growing our own foods in our own little gardens is becoming something of a lost skill as we live in dwellings that don’t allow it or don’t have the ground space for it. I don’t have a garden here, either, although I have had the good fortune of growing small gardens in other places I have lived in the past.
If i don’t garden, what will the deer have to eat?!!
Great gift for my dad!
I’m the guy who’s wife of 57 years has Alzheimer’s and is unable to speak or walk. I now park her wheelchair where I’m working in the garden so that we can continue “gardening together ” as we’ve always done.
Nothing wrong with some dirt under those fingernails
