    Turkey pot pie–American comfort food of British descent. Winter food only to be cooked in a conventional oven, fills the whole house with home cookin’ aroma even though the pie is frozen. I could eat ’em every day but it seems the salt level has been jacked up compared to generations past.

    Pot Pie means Chicken! Chunks of it, baked into a deep clay pie pot with a creamy chicken gravy and peas and carrots, more for color than for flavor. a traditional pie flaky pie crust. Watch out that you don’t burn the roof of your mouth because this pie is best served piping hot.

    Chicken pot pies…Yummmm…are English peas, Carrots, Chopped Onions, and big chunks of cooked chicken in a creamy gravy baked in a flaky pastry.

    Love the chicken pot pies, frozen. I grew up in them at least once a week and my kids, all grown, loved them too. Especially Turkey Pot Pies.
