I’m not sure how to add to your blog. If I could interview anyone today it would be President Obama. I would ask about his comprehensive view of world policy and dynamics, how those views dovetail with repair of the US infrastructure, and what he envisions nationally and internationally in 20, 50, and 100 years.
Like jack says, how do I make a comment and/or enter the daily giveaway?
Hi Billy, Thank you for commenting on our C. Crane Blog. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
The radios I’ve ordered from you over the years still going strong. You rock. I would like to interview an extra-terrestrial visitor and ask how they communicate and disseminate relevant information to their “people”…and how do they govern.
I am hoping this is the place to comment for the blog question of the day. Who I would want to meet is Jesus I’d ask him what this life is all about.
I have ordered the C Crane Radio and I absolutely LOVE it. Keep up the amazing work!!

Everyone was shocked and grief stricken at what happened on 9/11. What happened after 9/11 however was more shocking and disturbing than anything else in our lifetimes. The aggregous behavior of various Gov’ts afterward and in the years following has and will forever diminish the memory and loss of life on that tragic day.
You folks are a great bunch to do business with. I’ve never had a problem that couldn’t be solved with a simple phone call! Please don’t change anything!!!!
Love my C. Crane radio!

Hi I would like to thank you for your quick return of my unity flashlight ; I had a bad switch so I called and you said send it in and in 5 days I had a new flashlight thank you so much .I use it for work and was lost without it!!
Well, I was an early fan…I still have my trusty pioneer CC (Sangeon) Radio…a prized possession…three things I’d gather up in a fire (aside from my dogs): my guitar, my banjo, and my CC. Once I sent it in for repair — something that was probably my fault — it was fixed and repaired without questions asked, in a very timely manner. But I kept thinking, “it would be nice if they’d send me a ‘loaner’ because they have me addicted and now I’m in withdrawal…” So, the old girl (probably 20 years now) is still kickin’ and keeping me good company even tho I’ve gotten remote-er and remote-er since my days in S.F….don’t take my guitar, my banjo, my social security…and for damn sure not my trusty CCRadio! good goin’ yoose guys, love my radio!

ben a c crane customer follower for 20+ years, very happy with service and information.
I have 3 radio’s two are internet radio’s. # 1 is a Sangean WR-1 still working fine after several years. A Grace internet radio that works great. Also a CC WIFI-2. I like the Grace best although the CC works fine. I also have the Point to Point system. Every time I have called Crane regardless of the reason. They gave me full cooperation. I recommend, anyone purchase Crane’s products.
i hope you guys will consider an amplified pillow speaker with two speakers.
Just bought the skywave after my cc pocket died. This was well worth the $ difference and blows away the pocket in ease and performance.I have owned other crane radios as well . Best portable radios on the market.
How does the phone charge adapter work? It seems some other adapter is needed to charge to an Android, Droid Maxx. The USB port is too large to fit into the phones charging portal. Do you sell or recommend an adapter?
Mark, are you referring to the CC Solar Observer charging adapter?
Do you make the radios at your facility? USA made?
We design them here but they are made overseas.
I love my CCRadio, especially at night when distant AM signals come in; but I’d really like to hear out-of-market signals during the day too, when I’m on the patio or in the yard. Ever consider adding a smart-speaker (Alexa or Google ?Home) capability to the CCRadio for portable backyard use? I can always plug my FM Transmitter into an Echo, but that seems like a kludge.
Hello Crane radio:
I hope you can help me. I have built an ICF home which is the perfect Faraday cadge because of all the grounded re-bar in the walls & floors. Portable AM radio quite working around 36” from my outer walls, but FM TV & radio is fantastic as I receive TV from 150 miles away. Is there any AM antenna in the 540 to 1,700kHZ that I can buy/make that would let me receive AM radio signals into my home?
Hi Edward, it sounds like our Twin Coil Ferrite AM Antenna would be perfect for this application. The element head of the antenna would be placed in a window in the direction of the radio stations tower. It would capture the signal and then channel it back to your radio.

My radio sound cuts out constantly it’s every 5 to 15 seconds. Is there anything I can do. I bought it last spring and immediately put it back in box. Now I am trying again before I decide it is truly defective. I got no response last year you stated COVID related delays.
Hi Monica, apologies for the late reply.
I see you purchased a CCRadio EP Pro last year. Are you operating on battery power or with the AC adapter? If the radio experiences low power, it can either power off on you or have intermittent audio. Low power can happen either through weak batteries (even a single cell) or a faulty AC adapter. Please give us a call so one of our technicians can assist you with the radio.
some good info from CC, but am getting more than I can handle.
Might want to offer a subscription criteria for preferences etc, otherwise thanks for the good work!
Hi Chris, thank you for the suggestion. We will consider it.
