Christmas to me is family – especially kids – and being together.
The one thing that means the holidays to me is seeing all of my extended family. Most of my family lives there states away, and it’s wonderful to see them at this time of year.

It has to be the Christmas tree and war years holiday music.
I have only one child,a son,34 years old,a married college professor (makes me proud), who wakes up in our home very Christmas morning. That means more to my wife and me than anything.
When I think of Christmas and holidays, I think of one thing: Food!
The delicious turkey on Thanksgiving, the sweets and hot chocolate and eggnog of Christmas!
When I discovered and understood the universality of the Winter Solstice — being recognized and celebrated by more-or-less all tribes and peoples, regardless of their local myths or beliefs. At that point I began to celebrate the season, day, hour and minute.

Hmmm. I thought I did this, but word press lost my comment I think. I love the decorations and the lights. It is the one time of year when people do something special for our town. I like to drive around on Christmas Eve and check out all the displays.
To me, it’s the family back together. The kids have moved away…but they have yet to miss a Christmas here at home. That’s what it’s all about.
Best thing is being with.family.
Remembering in a special way the reason for Christ’s coming to earth. Also, reflective family times and relaxation.

My brothers and I played this record album until we wore it out. I’d forgotten about it, until I rediscovered it several years ago. Nothing else brings back childhood memories of Christmas, play it every year now.
Loving and quality time spent with family and friends. Also, kindness shown to those less fortunate.
The look and smell of a decorated pine tree. It brings back memories.
