My favorite Holiday meal would be a Prime Rib Dinner with all the trimmings, a nice bottle of Merlot or Cabernet, and maybe pecan pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert….

My all time favorite holiday food traditions is Christmas stolen. So many memories of the dough raising by the radiators, the smells while its baking, wrapping it in cheese cloth soaked with rum, stored in the basement until Christmas morning!

Anything that Mom made was a great holiday meal! I love my wife, and she’s a good cook, but
Fried Oysters for breakfast on Christmas morning.
Christmas morning. After all the gifts are unwrapped, my wife makes her home-made (secret receipe) raisin bran ,nut,etc., and whatever. Warm out of the oven with fresh coffee.
Favorite food tradition has gotta be the biscuits and gravy my wife makes every Christmas eve.
Eating sausage and crackers and stuff like that as we decorate the tree on Christmas eve.
Mine is on Thanksgiving shooting down chocolate bars in our annual shoot on Thanksgiving.
We do a holiday combo of roasted turkey, pot roast, and Finish pasties; and the leftovers are twice as good !

Cheese stuffed biscuits with gravy- it was a comfort food for me and my brothers while growing up. When I started hosting our family.on holidays we added it to our menu to honor all the good memories that this dish holds for all of us
Egg nog!! My brother in law got a recipe from his Mother-in-law who is of Irish-Scottish descent. We have had him prepare it for us ever since 😊
Yes-our family must have item is Plum cake. I soak the fruits in rum a month and a half ahead for them to be seasoned just right. It is all well worth The effort in the end! 👌
Our holiday menu can vary quite a bit- last year we had an Indian cuisine menu and the year before that it was inspired by Italian dishes that we like. But we always have fruit cake based on my mother’s secret recipe.
I always request to include a piping bowl of Chicken noodle soup before the holiday meal.

My family’s holiday menu changes a lot based on who’s hosting that year, but we always have caramel custard for dessert because that’s what we all got while growing up. It used to be our Dad’s favorite and now we all can simply not have enough. Guess we all inherited his sweet tooth!

, buttered corn on the cob, cranberry sauce, toasted garlic bread, scalloped potatoes and cheese, fruit cake and slightly chilled wine, yum and merry Christmas c crane !
I admit it, I have a sweet tooth!!! Christmas cookies are what I like to eat during the holidays.
