I generally don’t put up a tree. I just decorate.
We have an artificial tree that we put up every year.
We do a tree. I put on the lights and my wife does the baubles and things.
A CHRISTMAS TREE, OF COURSE!
No more trees… Other decorations inside and out!
We put up wreaths and some garland but no tree. We go to our adult children’s homes for Christmas now.
i got tired of the big tree deal, too much work. I use a three foot synthetic tree. If you have a real tree be sure it gets lots of water.
We put up a fresh Christmas tree that we harvest ourselves from up in the hills.
We have two old-fashioned aluminum trees with working color wheels that are always a hit with friends of a certain age.
A Christmas tree
At are age we have an artificial tree. But we more than add the feeling of Christmas. Our property has Norway and Blue Spruce. Austrialian and White Pine. Plus Holly. We prune all of them and bring boxes of greens in for decorations.
We get a heists tree, a Norwegian Pine, the day after Thanksgiving. We take it down on MLK day. that’s a long time, but we enjoy the smell of the tree and having the lights, day and night.
I have a small artificial LED fiber optic tree perfect size for my motorhome and I power it with a little tiny solar powered battery Bank
I keep 3 trees up all year…they are all pencil thin with tiny white lights….and they sit on my hearth. At CHristmas , I put decorations on them…..very easy and looks cozy all year long.
To what do you decorate? I admit to a passion for those and that which are routinely eliminated or disposed of to accommodate the fickle shopper. I eargerly accept the “culls” from the Christmas tree lot, while selecting one for
its glory days in my studio apartment. And I must say that with adequate decorations any tree will dazzle anyone
once dressed. My latest version will be another Maine fir or spruce (its needles make the difference to identify),
as I am a Bostonian and unable to find the red or blue from the Pacific northwest. On Christmas night it is very
comforting to know I have saved another of Nature’s wonderous trees.
We always put an artificial tree prestrung with lights. I put it up, the kids decorate it, the I put everything away. Lots of work, but they enjoy it.
I have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree
We would usually get our tree from my father’s farming community where his family still farmed and lived.
Christmas tree from home depot and when I’m done I return it and the turn it into mulch..
I enjoy having an artificial Christmas tree. We recently adopted 3 young cats, so we have a small tree with inexpensive decorations. Fortunatly, they’ve left the tree alone. BTW, there’s a C Crane “Skywave” radio sitting under it!
Our family enjoys our horse driven hayrack, or sleigh if snows present, thru the woods and pick a Christmas tree for the senior care center and deliver and decorating, a festive and giving time for the holidays, merry Christmas c crane!
We always have a christmas tree. Sometimes up stairs and sometimes down stairs or both. We don’t do the real tree thing. Artificial real plastic is the way to go. No going out to hunt for a tree, no watering and no neddles.
We get a cut tree. We usually buy it from the Boy Scouts.
Used to decorate a small tree growing on the hillside beyond the patio. Then one year the tree was gone. Someone may have cut & taken it, decorations & all!
Yes, we put up a live Christmas Tree.
