Christmas carols.Its a whole group of songs that I know, and can sing together with others about warm wonderful moments and it doesn’t matter if I don’t sound great. Its just a time for sharing togetherness.

Going to Advent Church services on Wednesdays and Church on Sundays puts me in the Christmas Spirit.
As a retired teacher, I always try to attend the holiday performance at the local elementary school. I enjoy the energy, excitement, and the joy of viewing the children singing their holiday songs. Their joy and spirit is contagious. For me, it marks time and says the holidays have have begun! Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy New Year!

Being with my family while decorating the tree always puts me in the Christmas spirit!
To me Christmas means a time to reflect, new hope and life for all the earth’s creatures. The days start to become longer altho’ it is not that noticable at first but the changes are felt. Once Christmas lights start to shine they bring life to the darkness and the beauty of the dormant plants and trees show the importance of resting and taking a pause from our everyday living.
Well it seems the Christmas music always cues the feelings and sentiment… wonder if it works all year… ? lol
Christmas and the holidays means giving to others and making people happy. Finding the perfect gift for my family members puts me in the spirit because I love to see the look on their faces when they get something they really want.
