Today’s blog question: Holiday jingles and tunes; love them or hate them?
The winners will be selected in a random drawing and will be announced Monday morning. Good Luck!
They have a very short span of my attention….when the start playing them in September.
Love them-‘Jingle bell-2’
Oh we love the melodies:)
Love them. I listen to them all year long.
love em….
I like them, especially the older tunes.
it all depends on the music some I live and some I can live without
They are awesome during the holidays. I just don’t like hearing Jingle Bell’s in the summer. Lol!
They are great!!!
Love some, like many and hate “Grandma Got Run Over… “
It varies.
What I consider to be the real holiday tunes, the ones that convey true sentiment and “misty memories of days gone by”, are always welcome. The commercial jingles that use familiar holiday tunes in a hastily-produced, badly “re-mixed for mass sales appeal” way are despisable and disposable.
Mostly love them… except for the stupid ones. You know which ones.
I like the cheer the holiday jingles bring. My children often start singing Rudolph, Frosty or Jingle Bells. It always makes me smile.
Love them.
I do really love them, although I was surprised to see them starting prior to Thanksgiving this year, I think that there should be a short respite between Thanksging and Christmas to give both their due.
Luv them! Listen to a local radio station that starts playing them the day after Thanksgiving! I am tuned in all the time!
Love them !!!

Use to love them but not any more.
I love them, but only in moderation.
I like holiday tunes on the radio, especially those from the pre-rock ’40s and ’50s.. They add to the seasonal mood along with Christmas lights, short days / long cold nights, and the smell of wood burning in the air. I wonder which will outlast the other, Christmas tunes or fireplace smoke?
I like them if they have a Jazz, Swing, or Blues twist to them. Otherwise I listen to Grateful Dead concerts.
Like some of them as they take me back to a time and place when I was a kid and family gatherings always occurred at my grandparents home.
Love them
Love them very much
Love them very much
Love them
Love most of them
Love! Love! Love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It depends on the specific jingle, some are neat, others you don’t care to hear too often.
Most Christmas ads are not good and Christmas music around Thanksgiving I very much dislike. I do like the old favorites and some of the “cute” songs if it is close to Christmas.
Love them at first, then it gets annoying after the second week of December when they start playing x-mas songs over and over again….

I hate “the Little Drummer Boy” song
Love hate
Christmas and winter season type music is very nice but it’s January and February which are tough. Dark and nothing. Nonetheless I find myself singing along to the radio in the car this time of year. Can’t hit the high notes. Never could! I was “second soprano” in high school glee club. If I ever win anything from CCrane, I will be singing: “G-l-o-r-I-a in excelis Deo!”
Love them…it’s holiday time!

Turn them on 24/7 starting on Thanksgiving Day
I think they make the season more festive.
Somae jingles are catchy. creative and effective. Some are just plain dumb!
Love them the week before Christmas. Anything more than that is too much.
Love them! Can’t be the christmas spirit without them
