Today’s blog question: What is your favorite holiday song?
White Christmas has been a long time favorite of mine.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
“What Child is This?”
“Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” sung by Bing Crosby and the Andrew Sisters
“It Came Upon the Midnight Clear”
That is a tough one….I think if I had to pick one I would go with The Little Drummer Boy.

Oh Holy Night
I’ll Be Home For Christmas is a song that still brings me to tears. Shortly after my mom passed away, I moved to another State and “started over”. To this day, everytime this song comes on the radio, I choke up thinking that if she were still alive, I would definitely be home for Christmas. LOVE this song!
Yes, definitely “Oh Holy Night.”
Do they know it’s Christmas
Grandma got run over by a reindeer
“Once in Royal David’s City” is lovely, especially as sung by Julianne Baird!
Jingle Bells… Jingle bells… jingle all the way! I feel that No other song lights up the festive spirit better than this oldie- goldie!
Silent Night…holy night.
All is calm …all is bright!
My grandma taught this carol to all of us kids and now our kids sing it as a choir on every christmas family reunion. I still get moved by how peaceful it is.
Let it snow, let it snow , let it snow!
Although I must confess that I start humming that song long before holiday season…at the first sight of snow. My wife recently caught me humming this while looking at the snow forecast on TV. LOL!
It has to be the “Little drummer boy”. I feel this carol sums up how all of us who feel so small and un-deserving of God’s love are still worthy. I love the message that this song conveys.
Finally and easy question, “The Little Drummer Boy” is way out in front of whatever is second for me.
Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
Mary did you know
My favorite is,”The Christmas Song” sung by Nat King Cole.
C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S by Perry Como…also sounds beautiful when sung by Jim Reeves
MARY DID YOU KNOW
I’ll be Home for Christmas
Jingle Bell-2
“We Three Kings” From this haunting music I imagine the Magi guided by the star of Bethlehem, swaying on the humps of camels, and traveling through the desert a great distance to pay homage to the newborn King Jesus.
White Christmas

Rocking Around the Christmas Tree because it is fun and lively.
Oh Holy Night. Had to learn and sing this song (4 of us) for the Christmas program about 60 years ago. Still sing along whenever I hear it playing.
I agree, the “Christmas Song” the best.
