New Zealand (North and South Islands).
A trip to Maine would suit me just fine. Lobster, lobster, lobster!
Ireland.
Czech republic
My dream location on this earth is San Francisco, I lived there for 25 years and left two years ago and miss the lifestyle every day
To the nearest exoplanet that is likely to support life. Well, in low orbit around the planet and with a big telescope and various other sensors to look down to the surface and search for life. Wouldn’t want to actually be down on the planet, wouldn’t want to contaminate it – or have alien microbes contaminate me!
switzerland
I would like to go to the moon via the International Space Station, and visit at least one of the previous Apollo landing areas before visiting an unexplored area of the moon.
I would like to take a year off from work and visit all 50 states .
I’d tour the Pacific South Sea Islands.
Where I would travel would be close to home and that is the Outer Banks of NC
I would love to spend time touring all the ancient architecture of Europe, the castles, bridges, everything!
I think I would very much like to motorcycle through Ireland or New Zealand. How I could do that I don’t know as I don’t care for flying, but that would be my wish.
I would go to the center of the universe. Then I would know what it felt like to be a big Hollywood Star!
I would go to Hawaii. It is awesome!
I’d raft the Grand Canyon for months, exploring like Powell. Heck maybe do it WITH Powell, but with better gear, boats, food, and friends!
Mars! On a 4-wheeler!
I would love to travel to the Horse Head Nebula because of the sheer size and beauty. 110000 light years is a tall gas structure.
I would like to go to a place I used to go to often when backpacking in the mountains here in Montana. The switchbacks were steep, and the trail was grueling. But oh, man, the places you could stop for rests! Sitting on those rocks, looking right down along the raging water of the Stillwater River. I think of it often. But my legs are not so good, and mye eyesight is most all gone. So it is a place I dream about, sometimes when I am listening to one of my several models of C Crane radios. I can also still hear that water!
I’d love to visit Lord Howe Island during our winter time here in Montana. It truly looks like paradise. In the universe, I’d like to visit the nearest inhabited planet and see what life is like on on another world.
The moon. The view would be great, the ride would be amazing, and coming home would be a blessing. Still can’t get enough of watching all the old NASA footage.
I would love to visit Belgium and enjoy a different wonderful microbrewery every few miles!
I would like to go to Israel, and in addition to the tour, I’d want to work on an archaeological dig. Then on the way back, I’d like to stop in France and go to Lourdes and Nevers (to see St. Bernadette, who is like a “Snow White” in her glass coffin).
Just completed 7 day road trip to SC. Had fun but am glad to be back home.
Australia. I have always wanted to go there. I have a dear friend there who I have not seen in decades and I would love to see her.
New Zealand
i would love to see our world in the 1920’s. technology was coming in to it’s own. it was relatively peaceful.
I’ve been to all states except Alaska, so that’s where I’d love to go!
I would visit Thailand to see an authentic Siamese cat.
Rome, Italy
Anywhere in the world or Universe, leaves a lot of places one can go. But to narrow it down to just one, it would have to be the nearest planet (to earth) in the Universe that could sustain human life.
I would like to travel, in the Universe, to the closest planet to Earth, that can sustain Human life.
I need to visit Africa … but since I’m big on being comfortable I’m looking at places like Morocco, South Africa, Egypt (absent the current unrest) …
I would go to Israel
I’d like to go to New Mexico with my friend K7MOK and help him get moved in there and do a little amateur radio operation with him before returning to the Midwest.
I’ve lived in Michigan all my life. Although I’ve been to the UP a few times I’ve never seen ALL of the UP. I’d like to spend a week in the summer and a week in the winter in the UP to appreciate all that I can see.
Take me to Nova Scotia! Of course, I’d want to beam there and avoid all that tedious travel time.
Normandy, France – no question. D-Day shaped my father’s life and I would like the opportunity to pay my respects to the men who never came home and to the men who’s lives were forever changed.
I’d like to visit Australia and New Zealand, land of the Hobbits!
I would go to Norway or England
Rome, or the Holy Land.
I’d go to either Greenland or Antarctica.
Alaska.
A tour of our solar system would be nice, a tour of earth even closer to home
Marsh Harbor, Abaco, Bahamas
I wold like to be the first person to go to Mars and return.
I would enjoy seeing New Zealand, and Fiji as long as I was in the area.
I would like to visit Turkey
I would go to the Antarctic to experience the tallest continent in the world with all its penguins, ice, mountains, steam vents, extreme weather and undeveloped beauty.
Tasmainia! & then Melbourne ….
I would take the Amtrak to Fortuna, CA so I could give a box of homemade chocolate-chip cookies to my friends at the C. Crane company to show appreciation for the terrific radio they made for us. Really.
